Gluten free, soy free, 100% plant based & vegan.
Ingredients: Water, vegetable oil [sunflower], tree nuts [cashew], chickpea & pea protein, starch (potato, tapioca, rice, corn), yeast extract (B12), seaweed extract, herbs & spices, beta carotene, calcium lactate, potassium salt, plant cellulose.
Allergens: tree-nuts (cashews), sunflower, pea
Shelf life: 10-14 days (longer if stored correctly, product itself has a 30 day bb time frame, but the shells may pop open due to air pressure changes.)
Cooking Instructions:
- Fried / Pan: Simply crack your eggs onto a medium-hot pan with some oil, cover to help cook faster. Scoop up and serve sunny-side up on your favourite breakfast meal.
- Poached: Pop your eggs into a poaching pan/tray/cup, fill the pan below with water and bring to a simmer. Cover to cook. Scoop eggs out with a spoon or silicone spatula, pop on your favourite brekke. Best served with our famous vegan hollandaise sauce!
Storage instructions: Keep refrigerated. Please recycle your plastic egg shells. Or return to a Vegan Streetfood depot – to be recycled through our Clearer Conscience Program and receive 10% off your next carton.
While the nutritional content of our OMC eggs have not been officially tested and verified by a lab as of yet, based on a basic calculation of the recipe’s ingredients, we can provide the following estimated nutritional values:

Aside from the nutritional values, OMC eggs are a 100% vegan, plant-based alternative to traditional chicken eggs. This means they are free from the ethical concerns associated with animal agriculture, such as the intensive breeding and culling of hens and male chicks, as well as the use of hormones to increase egg production.
While both eggs provide the same amount of protein, the OMC egg offers higher amounts of certain vitamins and minerals, absolutely no cholesterol, and aligns with vegan and ethical considerations. We would argue that this would easily “justify” any price difference, especially if animal welfare and ethical production methods are important to you as the actual cost involved in the production of chicken eggs, are the lives and livelihoods of each and every caged hen.
